....goatee update - day 2

...goatee coming along nicely ...starting to itch a little .....but apparent!

luke is very excited!!!

turkey collected, presents delivered, need icing sugar but jean is bringing that so i can ice the christmas cake and about to go for a run before over indulging. alex and alison popping over later with a pressie for luke. alex has been confounded by this problem with the post not being delivered so is off to buy again whatever present is stuck in the postal system. there's a certain excitement knowing that people are travelling and converging on their home towns. pete's on his way to his mam's, sharon and ruth are home, people in houses waiting for people. i guess its not like that for everyone... we are all very lucky... i know of people through my job who see no one.

listening to ruby ruby ruby by the kaiser chiefs (who for the record i don't like and i particularly don't like this song ...they're on the radio.... they remind me of those comedy bands of the 70's looking for a cheap laugh... i know they're not (or are they?) but still that's what i hear......
