......the christmas bike ride

about 30 miles and 3 and a half hours later i've arrived home and am about to have a bath having experienced a great bike ride from frost strewn hills to wind swept tracks through little villages on my door step that i had no idea existed, or how beautiful they were. couple of stops for a nutty bar and a mince pie (very festive) made it an altogether pleasurable trip. chat was good and particular funny conversation about how sometimes when at home with your good lady you say something in complete innocence that sends her into a blind frenzy and after it all calms down you're left sat there thinking what on earth did i do wrong there!! ah, the fairer sex! unfathomable thank goodness... we'd be lost without you.

but explain me this..... on the hills it was very frosty yet noticeably warmer than in the valleys where there was no ice or frost.

feel completely set up for the christmas festivities now and the over indulgence that is inevitable and dare i say highly unnecessary. but there are plans to see family and friends which will make it great and christmas day with a 7 year old in the house is pretty cool!
