.....new years eve on saturday 29th december

as is tradition me 'n' pete celebrated new years eve prior to the event so that pete can make it back to leeds for the actual night. this year we were joined by crom (who was quite ill with a chest infection), minnis (who was simply beautiful as ever), and minnis' girl catherine (who felt she had a nose that appeared slightly larger than a usual nose especially in profile ......it would be inappropriate to comment ;-))

it was as ever a boon and good to have them all in my yard (lol, sorry crom!) cd's were exchanged, a veggie meal was prepared (the tofu could have been a disaster but worked out ok) and the cheese was welcomed with gay abandoned and then not done justice especially by pete who had booned up too much food and brown ale (a tipple favoured by his ma i'm told) ....very disappointed pete but good effort on the brown ale and witty banter front. catherine stepped into the breech and nibbled her way through a considerable amount of brie!
