.....things that make me realise i must be getting old

* i'm obssessed with bowel movements
* i have to hold things at arms length to read them
* when reading i have to go over to the window or put the big light on
* for the first time in 40 years i've not written a christmas present list...... and it's not bothering me!!!
* i always want to start and end my day with a nice cup of tea
* the music in bars on friday nights seems very loud
* it takes me 5 minutes to get out of bed
* i'd rather have a nice cup of tea than sex!!
* i listen, almost exclusively, to radio 4. and when driving home late on a night i get excited 'cos i can listen to today in parliment
* i can't go more than about 20 minutes without needing to pee

but..... i love my life...... and i can still.....
* run a half marathon without any ill effects
* cycle 30 miles and enjoy it
* look forward to getting home and chilling out
* get excited about the little things
* appreciate good music..... even this new fangled post rock stuff ;-)
* drink more alcohol without falling over

......and despite all this still
* don't understand women
* have lots of mistakes to make!!
* need to lose a couple stone!!!
