i spotted the jimmy two times tea tray... yes the boys have been over tonight for a j2x rehearsal and what a jolly jape it's been. alex has got us a gig and in the best traditions of the gigs alex gets us it's the party of a member of his family. it's his dad's birthday and for the occasion he wants some songs that al is working on and a couple of rock 'n' roll melodies! what fun! many wrong chords (even though most of the songs only have three) and much elvis like singing! right up my street....... trying to string them together with me hitting the right starting notes is proving the greatest problem!! alex commented "you chasing that note was like watching hugh fernley whittingstall chase a chicken" ....git.....

as for yesterday's mission of things to do on my day off i think i achieved them all, drank coffee, washed the car, the floor got done (although not by me), recorded a song for the circadian rhythms january e.p., and read the paper (if not for as long as i wanted to)
