.....yesterday.....

it was luke's birthday "party" yesterday which involved taking 6 of his school friends to the pictures to see alvin and the chipmunks (which was dreadful but the kids enjoyed it) and a warning to all those would be performing artists that once the record company get their hands on you you become a slave to their every whim and may have to sell your soul... pete.... i have warned you! we then took them to mcdonalds for happy meals all round then retired to the upstairs room where they all delighted themselves by shouting into microphones at the tops of their voices - no no i said the point is it will amplify you so you don't need to shout..... wasted - and playing the drums really loudly... as intended to be fair.... luke gave us a few bars of steady 4/4 as did megan which was fab given it was her first attempt..... a sheila e in the making!

the ride back was the funniest listening to the four boys in my car chattering away. apparently a t rex could not under any circumstances take out a stegosaurus even if it wanted too. and dinosaurs that can fly are the safest...... as long as they don't land. and cars dont go as fast as cheetah's unless its a car that does and small boys can run as fast as cars as long as the cars don't drive too fast..... genius! oh and girls are just, well, for girls! and are a bit, well, girlie! and saying loser to everyone seems to be in school yard joke!
