......house guest

.....we've been sharing our house with this little fella for the last week or so and finally we managed to catch him..... he emerged from the dish washer but wasn't wet... so how he'd ended up in there is a complete mystery.... however we do know he's been in two of the cupboards, behind the dresser, behind the fridge etc etc 'cos there's mouse poo in all these places... well was... we've cleaned up.... daily!!

didn't really want to kill him in a trap so was really pleased to snare him in some tupperware. me 'n' luke took him a good mile or so away and let him go into some hedgerow so he'd have somewhere to hide till he got his bearings. i was once told you have to take them at least 3 miles away or they'll find there way back.... well this was just about a mile away so we will see

got me thinking, "hope he's ok cos it's really cold" which led to thinking about all the animals who will die tonight wherever they are ... and then thinking about all those that will be killed by human hand .... and that got me back to pete and the whales.... and then on to all the people that will die tonight.... its a great leveller death... from the smallest mouse to the greatest whale via us humans.... we'll die and become dust.
