.....you are not alone

was in from work early so went for a big run which ended up being just over 11 miles. really just the start of my marathon training. i need to add 3 miles a month onto my long runs which gets me to about 22 miles. i'll worry about the last 4 and a bit when i get there.

my run was punctuated with listening to a radio 4 show on the effect, or non effect, of lourdes and whether it matters if its a religious experience or not... if it does some good for some people then it must be a good thing... not so sure... false hope and all that. and the most beautiful moment of all when pete appeared in my head and talked to me for about 2 miles of my run. still not sure whether he actually spoke to me or whether it was an experience akin to some religious do brought on by the fatigue of the run. anyway either way he told me that he was walking home from work, that vessels mixing was going well, that the boys want to come to the cottage to rehearse, that he's playing a beth orton song in his acoustic set.... time will tell how much of this is real and if it is then maybe i did speak to him... if not then i have experienced some altered state of consciousness....... beautiful either way!
