.....one way cafe moments

* pete sat on the floor playing local boy in a photograph when someone he knew had thrown himself in front of a train (if you don't see the relevance of this you need to hear the song) played on an acoustic guitar and sang in faltering and beautiful tones
* children in need will be forever children in leeds in our house... we roll this joke out every year and always say "but what about the kids in the rest of the country"
* pete's sketch performed when the legal age for gay sex was reduced to 16 ... it went along the lines of "well we can't go for a drink in the pub, we can't go to see that new 18 film at the cinema, we can't smoke cigarettes etc etc.... we'll best just go for a shag then...." funny and genius
* "stop making that racket" while an almighty din is going on and from below the desk appeared a tennis racket!
* walking home passed the supermarket... "always best to go that way... it's the safeway"!!
