....monday was great

monday started well with my trip to my gp who told me my blood pressure was fine (the high end of normal). a little weight loss would bring it down into the mid range he thinks so more exercise and smaller portion sizes me thinks.....
.....so went to the gym just around the corner from where i work... and i think i may have found the missing link... what struck me was there were lots of heavily muscled fella's many (due to there muscle size) appeared as wide as they were high, shaved heads a plenty, and sticky out paunches!!! surely trim waists would be aplenty if good diets as well as good workouts were being adhered too.... anyway.... did i feel intimidated???? abso-bloody-lutely!!!! but i soldiered on... figured out how the stationary bike worked and the cross trainer and then weight trained on the machines i recognised!!! things have moved on since i was last in a gym like this - couldn't even figure out how to climb into/onto some of the machines. i may start supplementing my diet with bolts, nuts, and nails to get myself enough iron to turn into muscle.
..and then band practice which was actually band mixing and the result... a nearly finished album... excellent!
...now then.... where was that deer stalker i bought when i was 17!
