......immense

while at the lakes this weekend running the conniston 14 it struck me how immense the mountains were but how small they actually were in comparison to the actually immense sky. there they were with their snow covered tops reaching to the sky and the sky there just saying yeah keep going here i am can you reach me cos i'm over here too and up here and over there. don't think i've ever been in the lakes this early in the year so have never been as awe struck as i was by the snow covered peaks.... very pretty....

luke has taken up free running while in the lake district. he reckons he's a bit of a daredevil and wants to have ago at running along the top of a real train. not on my life i said! he's upstairs listening to newton faulkner and what strikes me listening downstairs is from a production point of view (guitar especially) it actually sounds as though newton is up there with him. expensive microphones, beautifully acoustic rooms, and years of production experience i guess.... february and march have come and went and in terms of the monthly cds (!!!!) there are some things in the can that will emerge this week sometime to result in a feb to april cd maybe.

......and finally............how cool are we!!!
and this is not long after i'd finished the coniston 14 which was actually 13.875 but i guess the conniston 13.875 just isn't a snappier a title as the conniston 14!
