did you know that there are approximately 40 years between the death of jesus and the writing of the gospel of mark. that's like someone now who is 70 trying to remember and recount things that happened when he was 30 in 1968..... need i say more... without any access to archive footage, books from the time, or radio broadcasts..... did you know that paul's letters contain little reference to jesus beyond that he was crucified, died and rose again... nothing about his ministry.... nothing about his parables or words of wisdom.... bit strange.... did you know that many gods from other cultures predating christianity have gods who died under horrible circumstances and then rose again 3 days later..... did you know that zeus is not actually living on mount olympus.... it's a story...... did you know that its about time we applied the same twenty first century thinking to christianity
