....its been a strange week

luke's home.... and he's brought christine with him (lol!!) its strange been home alone when you're used to the house having people in it. it's strange not checking on luke before going to bed and not been woken up by him at 6 in the morning. our environment shapes what we are and what's going on around us shapes how we feel. i'm forever amazed by how simple decisions have enormous consequences. let's assume that ali had not decided to have this week off work.... and let's face it such decisions are made almost hour by hour (if not more often)....

.......i would have been able to go to paul and lesley's with christine and luke, but then i was ill so they may have postponed the trip until wednesday to see if i felt better which would mean i wouldn't have been on my own tuesday which would've meant i wouldn't have watched 6 episodes of tribe and learnt about indigenous tribes throughout the world. christine would not have been on the road overtaking that bus, or calling at such and such service station and buying some sweets which may have meant the guy who was now 1 place further back in the queue would have got out of the service station 30 seconds earlier which would have meant he hadn't pulled up at the junction at the exact moment the bus crashed into him..... you see how it goes.... i may have decided to travel ill on tuesday and infected hundreds of people with my germs ultimately causing a pandemic that killed millions.......

small actions have massive consequences. i guess this could debilitate you....

anyway they're home and it's lovely to have them here. i'm feeling quite a bit better....... christine?...... what's for tea!!??
