....and here is stuey baxter - 40 years of age and still going strong with goatee to prove it! for those who are unaware stuey was drummer in my band true faith, a christian rock outfit who wowed them for many a year in the north east playing an assortment of churches, church halls and even at one point a women's institute social (all be it before stuey was in the band that one). the most ammusing true faith moment has got to be a drummer incident with the drummer before stu, chris murray, who mid song infront of a packed house just stopped playing drums 'cos he really fancied a bite of the mars bar he had behind his kit.... we just kept going.... alex had a word or two for him afterwards!!! lol!! they were good and happy days. sandra (stuey's wife) was saying its strange 'cos she now takes her daughter emma to harvest (local christian festival) where she went as a teenager making her feel very old! true faith played there twice, both time were good, second time was the best playing as a three piece with stuey "mel gaynor" baxter on drums. he still plays in a covers band doing old epic rock stuff....

was great to see him.... and this type of thing always makes me feel i don't make enough effort to keep up to date with friends..... he's got a reconditioned convertible so looks like we might head over for a go in that.... luke insists!!
