......back home

we're back home from our trip to anglesey and above (bottom to top) you get me at a summer fayre, luke and me at the engine house on parys mountain near the end of a 5 mile walk, and me and luke at the top of a bit of a scramble on the coastal path. we've had a great time despite the weather.... we've walked, cycled, watched olympics, read books, and even had a day on the beach.... if you click the link for you tube at the side you could watched some videos of our exploits.

....have been thinking a great deal before and during the holiday about the clutter that invades our lives provoked by reading about pete decluttering his dvd's etc and by deleting my facebook account because frankly it was just getting silly... i don't want to be poked or bought or be able to see how many ninja points people have or be sent virtual drinks which let's face it are just little pictures of wine glasses and pints of beer and serve no useful purpose. do i need to know that bob is "watching x factor", or digby is "just chilling".... well no i don't.... so my account has gone.....

...but it goes further.... i have cds, dvd's and books i will never watch, listen to or read, or have indeed watched, listened to, or read and never will again.... there are of course things you would want to keep for personal reasons or because they have artistic value but there's so much crap there as well.... will keep you posted......

....and it goes further doesn't it.... how you spend your time, the food you eat, the tv you pollute your mind with..... it's time to evict the crap......
