......bunsed up at the shovlin's yard

....here we are at mick 'n' jen's cos our electric is off.... and i know it would be no hardship to do candles but mick and jen are away so we've deposited ourselves in their empty house.....
...chris and lynne are caravaning and christine's just been telling me about someone from work is camping..... its not been the best weekend, its rained and rained and the river at both chester le street and durham has broken its banks! it was great last night watching the overhead cables outside of our house clashing together and sending sparks and lighteningesque flashes into the sky.... great but a little bit frightening... all the electric gear in the house going crazy then finally silent!! its been a lovely day without the distraction of all things electrical and resulted in a toughly fought game of simpsons monopoly between me and christine which stil needs to be completed. christine went for the slow careful spending approach and i went for the all in, all for nothing approach and while i was on the bones of my arse for some time i think i'm starting to come good!!

weight - well i was 103.9 kilos last night and haven't yet found any scales at mick and jens
exercise - nothing today - i need a rest!
