.....millers birthday

forgot to take a picture that would be relevant to todays subject so here's a snap of the grand canyon from the window of the plane.....

yesterday was millers birthday and me and christine surprised him by turning up to have a birthday meal with him and lynne in stowell street in newcastle.... lynne had engineered it all and the look on his face was a picture when he walked into the loo in the pub we were meeting in and lo and behold there was i washing my hands!! was a good night with good crack about loads of stuff. it felt like ages since we'd seen them 'cos it had been...... excellent night. ended up in a piano bar with much talk of how we could do that if we put our minds to it.... i smell another miller/mordue project in the pipeline that has about a 4% chance of ever getting anywhere....but hey it's good to think about these things!!! miller has a finished e.p. cd that he only needs the sleeve done to complete, we have a track and a half done of the post rock adventure entitled the adventures of chriphen milldue (although i must admit i think chriphen morler sounds better - must talk to him about that!), we have 3 songs recorded for the february circadian rhythms cd due out (probably) before the end of the year!, and nothing ever came of the covers/tribute band that was either going to be called "snow play" or "cold patrol" (do you see what we did there!!).

including winslow's melody by pete, some snow patrol, some clash, a little ben folds, and some bob dylan (quite a lot of bob actually)
planning to watch "sex and the city" tonight with christine but must admit am still feeling jet lagged!!
