.....viva las vegas (to be sang in an elvis accent)

.....while outside today we found this tiny little frog ....how cool is that .... in addition to this today we've had chickens on the fence and we've now got sheep in the field opposite .....it really has been a summer (??) of animals ....all of the aforementioned and in anglesey we saw porpoise and a snake and butterflies we'd not seen before ....fabulous!

.....and more wonderful discoveries this week .....the debut glasvegas album previously mentioned (tickets bought for their gig in newcastle in december), sigur ros - meo suo i eyrum vio spilum endalaust and pendulum - hold your colour .....i feel really invigorated to listen to some new stuff after a period of consolidation ......i think trying elbow next.... al has been telling me for long enough i'll love them ....maybe now is the time!

.....and a for vegas ...well.... the dollars arrived and the credit card (0% on purchases abroad and no fees for purchases abroad! christine did good!).... i have all the required clothes to cope with poolside, trips out, dining, and casino (either dressed down or looking fly), i have a thing to charge my ipod.... anything else?? have decided not to take the macbook as hook up charges for the internet look a bit expensive but will see what i can do on the blog if i can find somewhere ....so all is well.... ....i am ready.... work monday then fly 9.30ish tuesday morning from manchester

2 days to vegas!
weight - not recorded - have decided not important (it's about what it was when i started trying to lose some! lol!)
exercise over the last few days has been good - working backwards
- saturday - run 3.5 miles
- friday - swim 1km
- thursday - nothing
- wednesday - run - 4 miles
listening to sigur ros - ara batur and now snow patrol - chocolate (i-boons is on random)
still reading blind faith by ben elton (which is ironic really.....)
