...not had a head shot for a while

....hey! what was all that bollocks about on wednesday.... god how much had i had to drink!!
ah no! hey now! i meant it all!

......shall i tell you what's happened this week.... yes? ok... well let me begin.....

monday night was great cos the boys were over... the j2x boys.... we ran through a whole load of our tunes and it was like welcoming old friends back into my life with each one we played.... and you know what even memory man mordue managed a good effort at remembering our stuff... so we've got a bit of a plan that keeps us playing but also helps us balance doing j2x with the other parts of our lives... happy days.... but god how old are we! work life balance 'n' all

work has been incredibly stressful this week... i actually had a lump in my throat and felt close to tears on two occasions because i literally was debilitated by the amount of work in front of me. but it's friday night and i kept going and some stuff got sorted and some stuff is still to do but it feels manageable.

the other nights involved coming home from work at some ridiculous hour having something to eat and drink going to bed and getting up to be back at work for 7.30.... not sustainable in the long term but needs must.

....and this weekend is christine's birthday so i've done a little shopping for that... so hopefully the weekend will be a big chill out
