the mission to clear the land to the side of the house to give it back to the farmer continues
we have tried for many years to tame this ploughed field and have finally given up deciding our time can be better spent elsewhere... like going camping on weekends, or cycling, or just chilling. we've had some great fires in the process.... rained a bit much today to get anything to done and i also had the prince2 manual to read...

prince2 is a project management qualification and i'm on a course for the next five days to learn about it.... the connection with social work??? well your guess is as good as mine.....

it's like a whole different language and to my mind seems like a whole arse on about nothing..... it tells me that in order to run a successful project you must think about it a bit and get a group of other people to help you think about it a bit. and maybe write things down to keep it on track. and maybe plan some stuff in case it goes wrong. and then give people jobs, get them to do them and have them let you know when they have etc etc etc....... and i've just read well over two hundred pages about all of this in a language that at first sight appears to be english.....

well we shall see what the course brings... it will bring an exam on tuesday and a 4 hour exam on friday..... and if i pass.... well it's an addition to the cv!!
