.....and the rain shall not deter us

it rained in dumfries to day so we drove around and found things.... we found the coast.... we found a chip shop... we found the place we're going to bike ride ....and... when we came back to the school house we found my mam and dad!! they're with us for the night 'cos it's my birthday tomorrow. we did the alcohol tonight because they'll have gone by the time the sun is over the yard arm tomorrow. we popped the cork outside to see if we could hit some of the sheep.

i have informed jonathan and luke that the sheep are in fact not real. they are stuffed. and the couple who run the schoolhouse and live in the house next door just keep going into the field when we are not looking and move them about. it's to creat the illusion of the countryside for us english folks that have come to scotland. and when we're sat in the garden one of them hides behind the hedge and baaa's to maintain the illusion.....

you know it's true........

will it rain tomorrow... probably... but it's my 42nd birthday so it can do what the hell it likes!
