.....rain? what rain??

...all the weather reports said it was going to rain all day....
....and it hasn't shed a drop... well it may have for you lot in england but for us in glorious scotland the sun has shone all day
so off we went to dalbeattie forest and cycled 6 miles or more - yes christine as well!! we even (well the boys) headed off onto some of the red sections... these are the bits for us hardcore mountain bikers... no no really they are.... lol! but we avoided the black routes which are really really hard. we did rooty tracks and boulders and even had a go at the log beam and i fell off but managed to get a foot down so only my foot got wet. the boys decided not to try it!! ...then a picnic ....then some food shopping ....then "a series of unfortunate events" dvd ....and now the boys are in bed and i'm having a nicely chilled chardonnay..... and i must say i'm knackered!!
