....just when you think it's safe to stop talking about it

....last night was great
.....we had a jimmy two times +1 practice for the wedding - as well as being a wonderful wedding day for alex and alison it's going to be a musical cavalcade. i'm playing some songs in the church accompanying frankie (alex's niece), then jimmy two times are playing at the end of the reception - a great mix of our stuff and carefully selected wedding tunes then, i'm dj'ing the night. it's all about the music at the minute. well and the sport... golf, swimming, cycling, running! it's all going on.

i was messing with some elctronica/techno (or whatever) for karl to conga (and bass play) along to... and we want to rope miller in as a multi-instrumentalist - been listening to unkle quite a bit and loving that adventure - cos you just don't know where it's going to go next! sound good if a little jagged at the edges - i want to plough a furrow somewhere between what me 'n' miller are doing a "the adventures of chriphen mildue" and the electronic end of things.... very exciting and probably completely inaccessible to the music listening public! but fun anyway!

wathing series one of "the wire" - was left unimpressed by episode 1 - but episode's 2 + 3 were wonderful - the chess scene being of particular note - it's building nicely
have just watched, "burn after reading (mordue rating 2/5), "inglorious basterds" (mordue rating 5/5)
