a strange night... a lovely party - val seemed to have a good time and her friends seemed to be enjoying themselves ....but a tough crowd to get on the dance floor. felt my set was a bit disjointed 'cos i kept changing approach to try and get people up on the floor but not much seemed to work until late in the night ...some requests from the floor got people dancing and one poor woman kept asking for stuff i didn't have! i have 14 days 11 hours and 46 minutes of music on my lap top (itunes says) and she kept asking for songs i didn't have! remarkable. i enjoyed it though and was dumb struck when i tried some paolo nutini and then some ska late into the night and everyone left standing was up on the floor ....a great end to a bit of a slow but rewarding night.
