...post gig cuppa

2.30 and i've finally sat down with a cuppa after ross and kath's wedding! a great but very tiring night! durham castle was a beautiful venue and was very atmospheric in the dark.... nice

the ceildh band ran over (wouldn't you think they would have considered shortening their set so both them and myself lost a little time ...but no!) so i didn't hit the play button until about 10.40 so a lot had to go from the set... but did that make any difference?? did it hell! blew them away i thought.... miller and lynne were up getting down, the bride was happy, the groom told me several times that he was saying thank you to me now in case he forgot later... the girls were up, the guys were up, the tunes were rolling.... we went from chart stuff, to boys stuff, to whigfield "saturday night", to trashy stuff, ...and it was all great ...many times the floor was rammed (except when cyndi lauper cleared the dance floor [delete delete!!]

me and alex cleared up to the quiet strains of robin guthrie..... the rain poured down as we loaded up and we got soaked but it bothered us not..... tired and happy,,,, tired and happy.....
