...turns out you can almost fit a small 9 year old boy in the tumble drier! it's great when the millers come down.... you never know what's going to happen!

the crack was much better than the previous time i blogged about... some good crack ...some good wine (chris has discovered a passion for red wine! excellent!) ...some good music ...and some cracking home made pizza's

...have just finished dan brown's "the lost symbol" and it has had me considering my position ...i can't comment on the book as miller is about to read it and wouldn't want to ruin it for him ....the fact the world ends in a cataclysmic h bomb explosion shall not be mentioned - i shall let him find out for himself....

here it is.....

.. evolution is fact
... i am - how should i put it - a physical reductionist (everything is physcial e.g. emotions are a physical brain reaction, the way music makes us feel is a chemical brain reaction etc etc - you know the sort of thing....)
.... still though i'm left with lots of things i have no explanation for
..... is there some middle ground?
....... i have already read "a secret history of the world" which looks at the evolution of religious thought.... the latest dan brown has sown some more seeds ...and i now feel that i need to explore that there are many things we don't understand about how we work and i feel some of the clues as to the untapped potential in our brains may be in the mystic traditions,,,, in esoteric thought and belief..... i have to reiterate that the end of this journey will not be the rediscovery of a god. he/she is not there (fact). but it may uncover some interesting topics for debate and conversation....
