...the beast

....me 'n' tony rode the beast ...so to speak....
50 miles of hall on a bike! it was simply hill after hill after hill! starting out from the park and ride outside of durham we headed out to witton gilbert then up to burnhope. we went in the general direction of consett and then ended up, after passing through some beautiful countryside, in tow law for a well end choccie bar and a lucozade... it didn't help! the hills continued to be relentless and as we turned into the finish we were absolutely exhausted!

sitting here now though, 6 hours later it feels good to have got around and achieved the taming of the beast, as my t-shirt for finishing says. probably helped by a couple of red wines and a lush chinese. tired, replete and happy! oh! and off work tomorrow. my last day off before a quite a few full weeks. my next break not being until the end of october.....

..the studio got a good clean up yesterday and a reorganisation in readiness for some serious recording for 2wiseguys ...can't wait to get going ...the creative and musical juices are flowing.....
