..this dj lark is problematic! what do you do when people are clearly having a good time, including quite obviously singing along to the tracks your playing but aren't dancing ...and then the frustrating thing is that when there's only 45 minutes of the night left then everyone is up! and then when you have to stop every one wants more .....i think it may have been the same problem as at val's "do" where lots of people were driving so weren't "lubricated" enough.

...hey though it was a cracking (or should that be crackling) night ...the atmosphere was great, the hog tasted fabulous, the food was good and the company was excellent ....the guys dancing (well stamping and jumping really!!) was great and as ever i had great fun playing music really loudly for over 3 hours!

....when people weren't dancing i just started having fun ...."how many tunes can i play in a row with dancing or dance in the title" ....lets just play some abba .......and then suddenly people were up ...i can't really remember the tune that got it going but it was definitely 60's/70's stuff! always a winner! no way can you blame it on the sunshine, moonlight, the good times, or indeed the boogie.... ;-) ...and i'll tell you what belinda carlisle "heaven on earth" cleared the floor! no way! it's a classic floor filler. so after a minute or so of it "getting jiggy with it" was slipped in and order restored! phew!
