.....only the third time ever

...now what do think of my nice new haircut?

....had to go and get it cut because eileen at work said i needed to ...she said "you need your haircut 'cos you look well, hhhmmm, eerrr, well.... less with it!" she said ....older and a bit scruffy is what she meant ...although at one stage i think she also said "less hip!" ...and hey a man needs to be as hip as he can be...

...so this morning christine phoned salon shimo and off i went for my 10 o'clock appointment with sarah.... now in my whole life i have only ever had my haircut by my mam (a now retired hairdresser) and two other people.... claire - a stylist who used to work with my mam who was in her early 20's and i was about 16 which meant i really really fancied her so thought it was great when she said she would cut my hair! and some woman in a salon in sunderland when i needed my hair cut and my mam was on holiday..... my mam's going on holiday today which is why i didn't get her to do it....

...so sarah cut my hair and a mighty fine job she's done too. similar to how my mam does it but with some subtle differences. she cut rather than sheared the top and didn't quite shear as far up the sides - it all looks very nice and my hipness is now fully back in place!
