....its been an age!

..its been a long time since my macboob hard drive went doolally and then got fixed and then went completely... virus, hard drive failure, corrupt system files... who knows,... but it's back and running and it's good to be back.... i was surprised to find that it's only about 5 weeks since i blogged 'cos it feels like forever... and lots has happened

...there's been lots if gigs,,, when was oceansize ...did i blog about that??

...there's been me 'n' chris going to manchester to see cats and cats and cats and ladycop and going off out clubbing to an indie bar and then to a bar where we were the only white fella's. we had a class night and snuggled up in bed by about 3 o'clock. next morning we got up chilled in the spa and then went to pick up a folding camper from a great bloke and his missus who were mortified that after 10 years of folding camper ownership that had passed without disaster he reversed it into a flower pot denting the back while enroute to sell it to us ...we negotiated and all left happy!

...there's been a cycle ride around whitby with nik followed by fish and chips in the harbour, and a cycle ride with tony taking in most of the flippin' north east via a cuppa and cake and his mam's.....

...there's been recording my other life, playing open mic nights, recording me 'n' karl as two wiseguys, doing live sound for the vaudeville class....

...and coming up i've got a charity gig this saturday where i'm singing with a "for one night only" covers band, 3 dj sets, and a couple of two wiseguys gigs.... and then it'll be christmas! more on the charity gig later

...there's been a trip the hills which involved sightseeing in london, a big long walk taking in the kings road, chelsea, and a ride on the london eye which was simply unnecessarily scary! far too high! far too high!

...the millers have been over on numerous fabulous occasions and last friday we did fireworks with luke
