....agile working

..this has been both a positive experience and a negative one
...i started at about 9 and luke said he'd be very good and not disturb me ....until 9.30 that was when he couldn't understand why i was still working and why wasn't i finished for the day and is this all i do just type things, "well that doesn't seem too hard", he said. off he went out into the snow and i got some peace to do some bits 'n' pieces and i did good work getting stuff done that's been sat on my desk in the office 'cos i couldn't get around to it....
...and christine, who was also "agile working", didn't get the whole idea either. when she walked into the kitchen (for that is where i was ensconced) and i said i'll have a cup of coffee she said make it yourself... i said - hey when i ask for something to be done i expect it to be done - this did not go down well... i clearly needed a different management tactic to elicit a cup of coffee... so i hit upon an idea... if you want a job doing do it yourself... so i did... and made one for christine ...this was not how this was supposed to work!!
...now i though "work from home, yeah, doddle"!! not so!! the bloody phone and the email never stopped!
...but the advantages?? well, i worked all day in my boxers and/or pj's!! and being at home meant that as i didn't have to drive home at 5.15 i got to uncork the wine sooner...a cheeky little rose to start (i know i know it's not proper wine it's like pop - but hey it's my little indulgence - you know, a bit like anne diamond, - you know you shouldn't but you want to!!)
....we're having tea early which means we might be able to sneak a cheese board in later....
...agile working??? i've never been agile in my life!!! and won't ever be if we make it to that cheese board!!
