.....happy new year like in simma's song

....so last year (well this year really!) on new years day luke gave me the letter "e"
....so i have endeavored this year to be enthusiastic, entertaining, energetic

how have i done??!!!??
well i have certainly been enthusiastic - well i think i have - you should see me dj'ing! lots of jiggling about and head bobbing. and i've certainly been entertaining - the music has taken over my life! two wiseguys, djing, and not forgetting the johnny vipond all stars covers band! have i been energetic... hmmmm... well.... not really.... i can't find my mojo ....don't know where the hell it's gone but i need to find it so i can get running and cycling and generally getting fitter and losing weight!

and what about missions.....
well i said i was going to have none ...i was going to simply see what unfolded
but i did list the following....

.the jimmy two times cd all done to release - well it's still done and never saw a release sadly. got a box of them in the studio that i think we'll ultimately give away to people who supported us

..alex and alison's wedding to dj - i did this and it absolutely rocked and the dj'ing just goes from strength to strength - christmas parties, weddings, birthday parties all done!

...twowiseguys recordings to mix and release - well, we've not done a cd but there is stuff up online with more stuff to come and we recorded 3 tunes with pete that he's gonna mix and we are going to release as our first cd single! looking forward to it!

....ableton live to master - well i've certainly learned a lot about it! mastered? well not quite but definitely making some cool music with this incredible tool..

.....oh... and the need to keep fit and lose weight (not gonna happen is it! lol!) - oh this is a big fail but it's gonna be different in 2011... it's going to be so so different!!

2010 has been a great year though - not just the music that i've played live, dj'ed, recorded and discovered but also i'm now a team manager at work; something i've worked towards for around 10 years..... i've cycled and ran - maybe not as much as i've liked but i've done it and i've swam a lot more than in any other year. i've seen some really cool bands.... vessels, oceansize, ladycop, cats and cats and cats to name but a few..... and next year.... well i'll tell more of my 2011 mantra and missions tomorrow....

but already planned we have 2 weeks in florida, latitude, camping in our newly acquired folding camper.... and plans and plans and plans ...more later....
