....kitchen equipment

...i crave a simple life ...life gets too complicated ...life is too complicated
..it's made more complicated because we are made to do things that mean we conform.
...i don't want to go to work tomorrow ...and i love my job! i want to stay at home, i want to write music, and i want to paint pictures ...i don't want to go and do things that other people want me to do... is that selfish or is it just a desire to be who i want to be? how many things do we do because it's the right thing to do.... it's right and proper for me to go to work isn't it? we are only valued widely if we are productive. i want to be unproductive and still valued ...is this possible? or do i? i'm thinking on the fly here.... am i bothered if people like my music or my photographs or my paintings? is it not more important that i value them? that i value me? is it not more important for everyone that you value yourself? does it matter if i value you? if you see you, and what you do, as valuable, it matters not what you produce but simply that you value that you produce it.... other people often dictate what is valuable to us.... we need to start defining our own value on things.... judge yourself by your own measures not the measures of others... let them measure themselves with their own measures.....

...the picture? oh yes the picture!! it's my "freegle" haul of kitchen equipment. freegle? it's an internet thing that lets people give away stuff they no longer need. so i got me a juicer, a blender, a food processor and another frankly undefinable thing... all for the "cost" of going to collect it... now it was a bit minging when i got it home but half an hour cleaning the electric bits while the other stuff washed itself in the dishwasher and i have some great kitchen gear... for me freegle is about recycling stuff ...i could have gone and bought this gear ...i've got the money to do that... but why give kenwood and phillips and etc etc more money when someone has this stuff and doesn't want it ...recycle ...mint
