...warning ...this may scare you

...now i don't want to scare anyone ....but ....i think i might have finally grown up!! i know!! or at least i might have started to grow up! why? you ask....

well over the last 2 days i've laid a path around the side of the house and i've fixed the guttering on the conservatory. not major you might! ah but hey! it's mega for me. i hate (or hated) doing stuff like this and i'm just rubbish at it. but no more! i've loved every minute of it! even drove miles to get the right brackets for the guttering and everything! was still outside in the (almost) dark and freezing cold tonight finishing off the guttering.... and then.... i stood back and took it all in! i walked up and down on my path just enjoying the beauty of it!! ;-)

i even went and bought myself a heavy hammer! and did you know they come in different weights?!? no! me neither! it was great! i'll be buying power tools next!

i'm doing diy, i'm watching match of the day on a sunday morning, i like nothing better than a cup of tea, i didn't make a christmas list this year

......frightening. don't worry too much though.... i still want to be a rock star!!
