....ah! wine

...cracking end to a great week ...nice run in the rain and then sipping a glass of chilled white while doing my warm down stretches.... this week has seen running, weight training, squash, two wiseguys rehearsal and an interesting and fascinating week at work mapping out new and quite radical changes to our working processes.....

...exciting weekend in store starting tonight with the arrival of my good friend stuey baxter with his drum kit and the arrival tomorrow of him and his band highest order. we're going to set up and mic up the drum kit tonight. sound check it to make sure we're happy with the sound and then call it a night. we've then got a full say of recording ahead of us to end up with a promo copy of some of the covers they play in their live set for promotion work.... gonna be great and i'll get to use my focusrite saffire pro 8 channel firewire card to record straight into ableton on the macbook! cool.... if the guys are cool with it we'll post a bit of their stuff....
