well not sure what i told you last but, i've now lost a stone and a half since starting this mission in january and i feel great. my ben sherman suit now fits. i bought it about 3 years ago and decided to "slim into it" and finally i'm into it! i just feel good.. simple as that.. i've stopped eating until i'm stuffed and finally feel i've got this thing under some sort of control. i don't want to make it sound as though i've got some kind of problem because that would be wrong for the people who experience great problems with eating but i do like my food and did have a bit of an issue with knowing when i was full!! i think i've figured it out now... well it's only taken me 43 years!

been a great week for music! tuesday saw highest order in the circadian rhythms studio mixing the tracks they recorded about a month or so ago and the tracks are sounding great ...lovely bunch of guys who it's been great to create some recorded music with. two wiseguys played there first "proper" gig in a good while at the head of steam in newcastle. we had a nice little crowd of friends down to see us and i think we did a cracking job. me and karl are quite self critical and to be fair had nothing bad to say about our performance. the highlights for karl were "sorry to tell you", "swimming/drowning", and "same sky, different island" ....and you know i'd have to agree... i think we are both realising that it's ok to play the slow songs.... nik mentioned "swimming/drowning" as his favourite and many others have mentioned this song as well.... good job that's going to be one of our "official" single releases! we gave some promo cds away and generally had a cool night! thanks chris, tony, nik, faith, sara jane, trevor and his good lady, and all you others that came down ...love ya all! more gigs coming up. circadian rhythms are branching out into promotions and are about to launch their first ever acoustic night at the fishtank in durham on may 12th... very excited... got some nice ideas! will keep you posted.
//sport//
lots of squash.... been playing tony most weekends and i think i'm 2 up for the year although last weeks game was an immense battle which was at 2 all and 7-4 to tony when the lights went off! phew! claimed the draw! ...been running but am having achilles problems that i need to sort so that i can get into the marathon training ...playing football once a week most weeks... well when i say playing football it's more running about without the ball while other play football around me! but hey! it's a good run out... and then when i get the ball it's "shit! shit! who can i pass too! quick get rid!!" - i sit in defence and kick it upfield... job done! ...and golf! me and jonathan are loving our golf. we had a top round at slaley hall a few weeks ago and... that brings me to today... we're off to mount oswald for a round... so much as i love talking to you all i'm off to do that!
bye for now!!
