...the big blog

...i'm not going to start by apologising for neglecting you so...
from the bottom up....
we launched into our easter extravaganza with jonathan at croft racing circuit for his first driving experience! he got to drive a mini around the croft circuit and managed to get up to 80 miles per hour. "don't worry" i said "the cars will be all dual control"! oh no they weren't! jonathan was totally in control and had an absolute blast!
we then headed off to bamburgh for our first folding camper experience! and we had a blast! the millers joined us and it was a load of fun. it was lovely and warm during the day and absolutely freezing on a night. by about 8.30 it was a case of how many clothes can i get on!! miller/hill took on the mordue fella's in the football challenge and thrashed me 'n' jonathan. to be fair i think miller beat us as luke tended to just roll around on the floor in a "i've just been fouled" style! i blame what they see on tele - poor role models these footballer types! we walked, and i ran and i cycled and we played triominoes - like dominoes but pieces with three sides... i know! immense!! we hit the beach one day. me sat there on nothing more than my daniel craigs soaking up some rays while other beach goers walked past us wrapped up like it was winter! we played cricket and buried luke up to his neck in the sand. and while i was quietly sunbathing flippin greenpeace appeared out of nowhere and started trying to role me back into the sea!!
two wiseguys played purple radio to promote circadian rhythms presents acoustic at the fishtank... our first steps into the world of music promotion.... and we've had a blast... the night was a blinding success saved by miller stepping in when si, one of the booked artists, sliced his finger open in some house move box opening disaster... when you've got friends like miller you always have someone to turn in the event of a myriad of crisis!
...and this weekend we've had a blast down in high wycombe with the hills... where we watched paul (christine's brother) jump out of an aeroplane over two miles up.... i mean really, why would you want to do that!!! the video footage looked immense and is about to get the mordue editing treatment so we can splice in what we took with the professional stuff!
