....same face, different wine glass...

.....there has been some serious slippage in the not drinking and dieting arena. now it's not that bad 'cos i've not put any weight back.. i keep putting the odd pound on and losing it again so, actually my weight is quite stable but i am making no inroads into the next stone i want to lose! i'm drinking a little every night but not at the level i used to so... it's not all bad news....

...my plan? gonna go to latitude on thursday ...enjoy myself ..and then come home and relaunch! not in the least because the spectre of the october marathon is looming! so co e next tuesday it's back on the diet in earnest and up the exercise regime....

..gigs? the fishtank is just ticking over... we need a bigger audience but hope that a move from the fishtank to the head of steam (durham) will help... we think we've got the format right and the quality of the artists right; we're just not sure we've got the venue right... this move will see...

two wiseguys were out at the rather lovely nancy's bordello playing originals and covers until 1 in the morning and it was a lot of (tiring) fun! it was a great night but.... i much prefer playing our own material and the focus at this kind of gig is definitely the covers... it's all good though and the staff and punters were all lovely and very appreciative...
