..tea and mince pie

....sitting having a cup of tea and a mice pie after a festive night out with my good friend nik

christmas songs played in the pub as we drank ales with names like "ugly sisters"! and an ale with a hint of cinnomon.... sweet....

we chewed the fat about our usual fav subjects - evolution, religion, cycling and running, and music... all very entertaining.... and then a walk home in weather that i can only describe as almost summery! very mild out there tonight...

so with my mince pie nearly demolished and my cup of tea on the way i shall soon retire to bed.... remember though that we are not descended from monkeys but rather that monkeys and humans are descended from a common ancestor, remember that there is no argument to be had when christians play the faith card - you might as well give up - as a rational debate that tries to compare evidence and faith is not possible, remember that it's ok to drink ales with strange names, and remember that we are fitter than we think we are..... night night x
