..the millers (all 4 - well to be fair the twins are too young to be left in!) have been over for pizza and as part of the over dinner conversation i informed them that in roman times the posh people in their homes had a vomitorium (i kid you not!) which was a place where between courses the party goers went and threw up to make space for the next course. and interestingly.... still on the romans ...they believed that adolescent boys needed to be impregnated with seaman in order to become men so the older guys would indulge themselves with the young men. the best way for the sperm to enter the young boy was orally rather than anally although both were indulged in.... seriously ....i kid you not! the romans! there you go ....great thinkers, great architect, great warriors! it's amazing what you find out reading those book things.... maybe i should read some light hearted fiction... i think i could probably have lived without knowing all that about the romans .....i wonder what the greeks got up to what with all them jacuzzis!
