....6 wheels 6 legs 2 days 2 rides

on thursday, after venturing to cherryburn (a national trust place), we found ourselves at parkhead station at the top of the waskerley way considering embarking on a 22 mile bike ride to get us home. it was actually snowing! so we ate a hot beef sandwich and a cream scone and..... it was still snowing (well sleet by now!). but the mordue's are hardcore so off we set.....

we were soaked and cold within about 5 minutes but as we descended the sleet turned to rain and it became noticeably warmer and by the time we could "see" home it was positively sunny! such is the bizarre weather these days! 22 mile and 3 very satisfied mordue boys! we all did very well...

....and not to be put off by our thursday adventure we got dropped off at grandma and granddad's and cycled annfield plain to home (about 12 miles) on the c2c route, on, what was, a lovely morning.....

go mordue's!
