...checking in

....i should have been in touch sooner but, what with, sleeping and resting and resting and sleeping and sleeping and resting i've just not had the time. luke is sat on the other couch today, himself unwell, with a mysterious tummy bug. i think it's the dadsoffworksoiwanttobeoffschool bug!

i never knew there were so many different types of pain that you could experience! there's the dull ache pain (have had that one). then there's the ripping searing pain (have had that one). then there's the short sharp stabbing pain (have had that one as well). then there's the sharp pain followed by burning sensation (just had that one). ....and there are many variations on this theme.

the solution to avoiding most of these is to move around as little as possible and sleep a lot - turns out i'm very good at this!

in future when christine calls me a pain i'm going to ask her to be more specific as to exactly what type of pain i am....
