....luke thinks i'm unwell!

...luke feels i maybe be unwell as i have just declined ice cream ...mind you it was home made avocado and lime ice cream! ....mind you it's lovely and a great way to use avocados when inadvertent over purchasing has occurred! i am feeling slightly unwell to be honest and am going to read the information with my blood pressure medication because i seem to recollect the symptoms i'm feeling as being listed as possible side effects ...and i have just doubled my medication as per medical instructions.

watching the jubilee flotilla! now i'm not a massive royal family fan and neither am i a royal family detractor.... but this is fascinating ...the sight of all of the boats is a spectacle ...an event ...an extravaganza ....i remember someone once saying - in life we have opportunities to make memories - today communal memories are being made and that is a good thing whatever you think of the royal family. this is a great coming together no matter what the reason. and what a great year it is for our country. the jubilee, the olympics - it's easy to be critical (and being critical is something i do easily) but i see no harm in any of this ...community is good ....collective memories are good ...our heritage is good ...it's ok to be patriotic ....it's ok to speak of love for ones country ....honestly - i wouldn't want to live anywhere else ...i can take that further and say i wouldn't want to live anywhere other than in this beautiful county of durham
