...not just any christmas shopping

as for today - well both christine and i were off work so we headed out bright and early to do some christmas shopping of sorts. so, when at 10(ish) we were sat in the marks and spencers coffee shop having coffee and mince pie i thought - christmas shopping - i love you.

we were at washington galleries for our annual visit there - i don't know why - it's just a once a year thing we always seem to do ...and it gives you a certain unique perspective on humanity! armed with a few carrier bags full of stuff we headed home. it was a good 'spree' all told!

once luke was in from school we headed back to the school for parents evening. despite a chatisement of detentions (oh yes it is indeed the new collective noun for a group of detentions!) his teachers are really pleased with his progress and he sounds like he is pretty much a model pupil for the most part! go luke!

soon all blogging will return to here as the 7 kilos in 7 weeks challenge will have come to an end. now while it hasn't been an overwhelming success it hasn't been an epic fail either. i will be nowhere near my 7 kilo target but i will have lost weight and i will have lost inches - i will report on both at the end of the week! bet you can't wait!
