....millers, music and knob twiddling

.....sunday
early start to get ourselves to blackhill baptist church to be sponsors for matthew and james miller. the service went off without a hitch - relatively - the minister confused the sponsors by telling us our response was "we do" then started his bit for us to respond to with "will you". well clearly we'd been told to respond "we do" but the necessary response needed to be "we will". this led to a rather half hearted sponsor mumble as we struggled to all respond in the same way! matthew and james were in good form despite been tired. we coffee'd in the church hall and headed off for the anchor - the miller local. we feasted on hot beef sandwiches and chips followed by cake. i'd talked with alex about music and to paul about keeping fit - excellent crack! three pints of black sheep left me feeling groggy and ready for an early night and ready for some nights off the ale and wine!

.....monday
a great day in the circadian rhythms studio with karl. we'd not see each other since july but this mattered not as we hit our groove conversationally and musically. great two wiseguys rehearsal! it was like we'd never been away - we nailed the majority of the originals and a good percentage of the covers with minimal effort. we ended the day trying our hand at some electronica with me keyboard playing and knob twiddling with karl playing live drums. and i stayed in the studio after he'd gone and wrote and recorded a rough demo of a possible track and it's up on the circadian rhythms audio blog

have a listen.....
