...recovery towel

...this is me with a towel on my head .....just in case you were wondering! been out for a run and towel over my head is me in recovery mode!

christmas planning goes from strength to strength! we were at the metro centre for our once a year visit. we have to look at the map every time 'cos stuff has moved or gone since we can last remember being there! anyway!! we were there for 9.30 so there were barely a handful of people in the place - it was great. we got around quick as a flash - primarni, m&s, boots ...and then we were done! easy! we met up with lynne and the miller twins and she guided us to one or two other places -for she is a regular metro shopper! she claims because it's easy with the boys but i seem to recollect she was a bit of a regular prior to motherhood ;-)

we lunched in the m&s cafe with all the other middle class people with more money than sense and the boys were fed. at times they were a bit rowdy with some banging on the table - many people thought this was very cute - but i'm sure i heard someone say "if we'd wanted this kind of racket with those kind of people we could have just gone to the morrisons cafe!" oooo! harsh! ;-)

a quick sortie to the arnision for mince pie related baking stuff and we were home... and then i was out for a run ...then i was home ...and now i'm here. and unmeasured run tonight probably a good 3 miles or so with the middle mile consisting of a good bit fartleking.... good work out. the exercise of the last few days is shaking of the last remnants of the cold i have so should be fully over that soon! excellent!
