....there's nothing like a good cause!

....there's nothing like a good cause to get you motivated. and there's no cause as good as raising money for a first rate charity. so this morning saw me up bright an early heading over to paul's (aka father fitness) house for his second run of his 12 days of christmas adventure!

it was a tough 6.1 miler to the dove hut at broom house farm. it was a lovely run to be be fair but with a killer hill at about the 5 mile mark! the longest hill ever - not sure how long but it's got to be getting on for a mile! still though you soldier on don't you because when you measure up the discomfort of running up a hill against the challenges that some people face on a day to day basis you realise you just need to get on with running up that hill and don't dare moan about it because for some even the simplest things in life are as a big as that hill.
