...a weekend of fun

....and what a weekend the Mordue/hills had visiting the hills. We set off for high Wycombe early Saturday morning arriving just in time to take our seats for Sarah and Alice in their dance show. Alice in the staring role of Cinderella! And they were both excellent. The first half of the show was stunning but the second half was a bit patchy - well - that's my opinion but hey what do I know lol! The girls were fab throughout! Well done!

We then headed off with family and friends en masse to the local wetherspoons hostelry - I mean you can't be robbed, can you! Burger and a free pint! What's not to like! Then as the others headed off to the evening performance, me, christine, and Luke headed back to high Wycombe, checked in at the Premier Inn and walked to the cinema to watch Jack the Giant Slayer in 3d - and it wasn't bad. What it lacked in story it made up for in special effects. It felt a little long at 2 hours but there were some nice story line touches added into the traditional telling of the fable - a Mordue 3 stars I think.

After a good nights sleep we spent the morning at the Hill's residence and after brunch we drive home arriving safe and sound with a take away curry in hand! Now that's a good weekend is it not!!
