....at home

the last two days have all been about working from home. this is a great way to work! let me tell you! my favourite thing is you don't have to prepare and take lunch - you just make it when you're ready! genius! i think i get more done as there are less distraction. this is the wrong way around in some peoples heads because some people i've spoken to about this think there will be more distractions at home. i don't find this the case. the work needs to be done and if i don't do it it's just to do sometime else - probably on my own time. but it is nice over lunch to pick up your guitar for ten minutes or have a wander around your garden. you just feel more at ease. and then when your finished you haven't got the long drive home. in fact i think i work a bit longer because i know i haven't got the drive. you want to get away from work to get the drive out of the way and be home for a reasonable time but without the drive i work a little longer but am still home earlier! ...what's not to like!
