....day 4 - exercise streak


day 4 of the exercise streak

I figure it's all about mixing it up - keeping it interesting. I've only done body pump once before but figured it wouldn't be hard to load the barbell up with a reasonable weight, put a playlist together, and browse some web sites for ideas, then make my own routine up..... so that's what I did.

Here's my playlist:
Rebel Yell - Billy Idol (Military Press and variations)
Get Lucky - Daft Punk (Curls and Reverse Curls)
Treasure - Bruno Mars (Squats)
Sweat - Snoop Dogg (Bent Over Row)
Got to get you into my Life - Earth Wind and Fire (Bench Press)
Jump Around - House of Pain (I jumped around! Star Jumps, Hoop Jumps, Big Step Jumps)
The Key, the Secret - Urban Cookie Collective (Kettle Bell Shoulder moves)
Heaven - Emeli Sande (Good Mornings and Lunges)
Firework - Katy Perry (Kettle Bell swings)
Spectrum (Say My Name) - Florence and the Machine (Clean and Jerk with Press)
....and then a bunch of static stretches

45 minutes - good call!

Some of them weren't quite the right pace but I'll hone this in time!
